Marriage Mentoring

This book was completed with Jake Riddle of Austin Stone Institute for a program they put on for couples throughout the year. The 160-page book includes nine chapter title page illustrations and a foil stamped front and back cover.

Book Design, Illustration, Production

When I embarked upon writing this book of counseling activities, I began to imagine what the overall look and feel might be when the book was finished. I have collaborated with numerous designers over the years. But I immediately knew that Shawn Bueche was the right designer for this project. Perhaps more than any other designer that I know, Shawn shares my deep appreciation for well-crafted book design and type-setting. He also possesses that unique ability to intuitively interpret a client's often abstract vision for their project. What Shawn has managed to do with this book is simply stunning. Everyone who holds it in their hand almost immediately feels both the preciousness and precariousness of the journey they are about to take.
